Possible source of consciousness

Consciousness could arise from accidental binary programs occurring spontaneously given a near infinite number of trials.

Binary code is the basis for all computer programming. Binary is simple an on or off, 1 or 0, or wave vs particle. Any 1 of 2 possible outcomes will do. Wave vs particle possibilities such as that which occurs naturally with light, could be a source of binary code.

Given enough trials a kind of binary, self programming could accidentally fall into place. These programs could eventually fill the universe with thought or consciousness. It could also give self aware entities a place to store their mind beyond the physical body. In other words the soul could also be a kind of quantum computer
